Refurbished Telecommunications Equipment

EIT has a long history in refurbishing and extending the life of Telecommunications equipment serving to assist in protecting the environment. Thus providing the industry with a low cost alternative for Telcos’ and businesses to support their networks through the transition period from legacy to the latest technology.

This service was provided by EIT in the 1970’s and 80’s for electro-mechanical telecom equipment and in the 90’s for various types of digital equipment. The company continues its commitment to offer this service to the telecommunication market today which includes: Nortel DMS, Microtel GTD-5, Siemens DCO and EWSD, PABX, DC-Power, and other equipment from various manufacturers.

In 2010 the company expanded the focus of this division to include refurbishing and upgrading computers, monitors, TVs, and other electronic equipment. All surplus e-waste is forwarded to government authorized recycling facilities, effectively reducing the amount of hazardous e-waste deposited into landfill sites.
